FRANCIS A. BOYLE is a leading American expert in international law. He was responsible for drafting the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989, the American implementing legislation for the 1972 Biological Weapons Convention. He served on the Board of Directors of Amnesty International (1988-1992), and represented Bosnia-Herzegovina at the World Court. He served as legal adviser to the Palestinian Delegation to the Middle East peace negotiations from 1991 to 1993. In 2007, he delivered the Bertrand Russell Peace Lectures. Professor Boyle teaches international law at the University of Illinois, Champaign and is author of, inter alia, The Future of International Law and American Foreign Policy, Foundations of World Order, The Criminality of Nuclear Deterrence, Palestine, Palestinians and International Law, Destroying World Order, Biowarfare & Terrorism, Tackling America’s Toughest Questions, The Tamil Genocide by Sri Lanka, The Palestinian Right of Return Under International Law and United Ireland, Human Rights and International Law. it proposes a plan, to begin with, rather than just complaining -- that is, a plan that appear to be in part, if not in large part, pragmatic. that, in itself, is constructive. the history of European countries seeking sovereignty is most instructive. the words of an expert are helpful I think.
Hawai'ian Queen it is a shame what America has done to our Queen and her people . And a shame for her own People hurting her and her People . Not a proud moment for Hawai'ians.
An important history changing work that has inspired and motivated a generation of Kanaka Maoli to become actively involved in the possibility of restoration of the Hawaiian Kingdom government.

Francis Boyle definitely knows what he is talking about when it comes to international law and the history of Hawaii and its illegal overthrow. He recognizes that the fundamental problem and fear created by the restoration of the Kingdom of Hawaii is the huge issue of land titles. Because the economy is based on land titles, and that every single title in existence today in Hawaii is clouded and legally in question. Those powerful landowners of today would suffer greatly if all titles were to be rescinded and returned to The Kanaka Maoli, so it is in their interest to turn OHA into an organization to settle for a status similar to what Native American Indian have. Mr. Conklin is a transplant from Boston, has been a resident of Hawaii only since 1992 and has little insight into the Hawaii, Hawaiian locals, or reparation for the wrongs perpetrated on the people of Hawaii from mainlanders.
