***5+ Stars***Never in a million years did I ever think I would declare a book this, but HOLY wow All the Lies is the MOST INTENSE book I have ever read. I am seriously at a loss for words on how I feel about this book. This series is like nothing I have ever read before, but has me craving for the next book, like Lana is for her next kill.As the title says, All the Lies starts coming out in this book. After the famous cliffy Mrs. Abby is known for, we start this off with finally some of the truth of what happened 10 years ago. And let me tell you, it gets intense, graphic, and will really have you understanding why Lana & Jake started this plan for revenge. As more pieces fall into place, they have to be careful not to slip up. Because if Logan finds out who she really is, who knows if his love for her will overcome his job of taken down the "Scarlet Slayer."The last three books had me wanting the next book right then with their cliffys. Don't get me wrong, with book 4 its no different, but I think my head & emotions are glad to have this little break before reading the last book of this series. And after that, I don't know what I am going to do with myself. I have been consumed with this series. I will most likely do a re-read after re-read because I think Lana has corrupted my mind with her psychotic tendencies ;)
Holy stabby s***!!! I can't even.... It's the worst cliffy ever! I'm dying, I need next book ASAP! This is one of the best series ever. This author so can pull out all kinds of emotions from her readers. I was sick and pissed from all the Lies revealed in that sick town. I was anxious and worried for Lana. Not wanting anyone to interrupt her mindf***. Then I was chuckling, if I had just heard the funniest joke, when she pulled one of her mind f***ery and people like ants in that twisted town run crazily like they saw the devil himself. And then I cried... Even know I'm all teary, when I think about that moment. A moment, when the last pieces of Lanas soul was torn out. And all I can think about is can she get them back? Can she ever feel light in life? Or what is left is a monster?
Just another incredible book in this already incredible series. Once again you are left on the edge of your seat.I can't even right now. We finally find out what really happens all those years ago and even then I think there are still some questions that need to be answered. The first chapter alone had my throat dry and almost felt like I couldn't breathe. From book 1 I have been just completely enthralled with this story. Lana continues to be a force to be reckoned with but I can't help but feel that it is only a matter of time before things go south for her in a way that I don't really want. Her and Jacob are literally bringing the town of Delaney Grove to its knees in a spectacular fashion one that is seriously movie worthy. I don't want to continue and give anymore of this book away but dayum if I didn't think that Lana would unravel when Logan himself is put in the crosshairs. As to be expected at this point of course S.T. Abby left me in a heap on the floor at the end of this. I absolutely can't wait for the conclusion of this story. Just soooooo incredibly good. These books are worth way more than five stars.
I normally don’t read series, but this one I inhaled in one breath. The author pulled me in so deep, it took me some time to come back to reality after I finished it. And all I can say is: WOW!!! I don’t remember ever reading a book that fast, let alone a series of five. I was hooked on the very first pages. As I turned them over one by one, Lana’s story broke my heart, made me cry, and made me wish the worst for the monsters that ruined her life.It was a miracle that she physically survived the horror that she was put through. Her body healed, but her soul was still broken ten years later, when she accidently met a man in a coffee shop. This man would hunt her down, if he knew who she really was. But instead of staying away, Lana finds herself pulled to him like a magnet, and for the first time in ten years, she has hope for the future. A hope she thought she’d lost forever. This book had so much action and so many twists, they made my head spin. There were a lot of characters, and they were all very deep, every single one of them. The story was dark and bloody, with torture beyond my imagination. I strongly recommend it to readers who don’t get disturbed easily.“This is for the ones who lost their voice. This is for the ones who wish they could be Lana Myers. This is for the ones people still whisper about. This is for the ones who fight every single day to forget. You’re not alone.â€I can’t add anything more without ruining the story, so I’ll stop here. I’m posting the same review for all five books to give them the stars and the appreciation that they deserve.
We finally learn what happened that evil, evil night. (Btw, not for the faint hearted...but you may have gathered that from book 1 ;) )Lana and Jake has the town question if there's a ghost or two back from the dead to haunt them all for keeping quiet. Some of the members in the FBI group is starting to empathize and sympathize with the killer...but that's wrong, right?"It’s not a man who just saved my life. It wasn’t a beast at all. It was a woman.""I guess Jake is right about Logan bringing back out my humanity. He can’t stop me from being a monster though."Loyalty are shifting sides. And more of the secrets the town has buried, is now surfaces. But it's not over yet! It's just beginning."I twist my head around so that our eyes meet, and add, “But you? You’re the hero in all the fairytales that doesn’t expect the heroine to put out.â€"Even as dark and gritty this story is, the awesome author knows how to make me laugh out loud! Just wait till you read about the ducks...nasty ducks!"Silencing me. It was the worst part of it all. Being silenced, because no one wanted to hear."
